Obama Cyber Warfare With Iran

What do you do with a country you want to bomb but really can’t because of the the political ramifications?  You call your Internet Army and start a cyber war.  You then make it classified so the public doesn’t know what is happening and how much you’re spending.  While I can’t blame it all on Obama (eventhough it was greatly increased under his management and still is today) the Bush Administration started it.  The operations were code-named “Olympic Games”.

A portion of the cyber warfare activities was accidently released to the public via the Internet and a bunch of nerds figured it out.  After studying this Internet worm, they figured out it was developed by the US and Isreal.  CIA director, Leon Panetta, and Obama discussed shutting it down or continuing its progress, however, after reviewing how effective it has been causing havoc they decided to keep it going.  They released a newer version and another after that on Iran.  The cyber warefare with Iran continues today.

Due to this attack, Iran started their own cyber warfare unit and has been quoted as saying that the “Iranian military was prepared to fight our enemies” in “cyberspace and Internet warfare”.  Very little evidence has been reported about Iran striking back though.

Independent Internet security professionals are looking into another cyber warfare worm/virus called “Flame”.  It attacked the computers of Iranian Officials sweeping up information on them.  US Officials say it wasn’t part of “Olympic Games” and have declined to say whether they were involved with it or not.

No wonder our foreign policy with Iran is no good and diplomacy isn’t working.  From all this, it appears America threw the first punch with Iran.

Who is President Obama?

I don’t know the answers to anything I am asking or writing about but my goal is to interest enough “Independent Thinkers” to help get answers as to Obama’s past. Hillary Clinton blew her chance by being so sure she would win that she did not put Obama’s back to the wall at all. If she said anything even remotely showing he might be a liar or evading she did not press because immediately the “race card” came in. In my opinion he is so far to the left and cares so little about America he sure should not get 4 more years to do more damage. It is so obvious he wants everyone to be dependant on the government that he is trying to convince people that the government is the only thing that has even made small businesses successful. He is dead wrong. The government has created so many rewards for people who have no desire to work that they know they have to vote for him to keep their “stay at home checks” coming. That being said, I will list the things I think he should be forced to answer. It should be relentless and stop the crap that people are picking on a black. Remember he is half white too. I am not a crazy lady making up stuff here. Donald Trump forced him to produce a long term birth certificate, which very likely is phony too but he did not cough up one for Hillary. Why did he have to be forced?

He is privy to the top top secrets. How on earth did he get a top secret clearance unless he bought one? For sure he did not even do what I had to do to get a low level secret clearance. During the War at Boeing to work on certain projects you had to have a secret clearance. I was sent on tests on Minuteman and needed one. I was only 18 but number 1 was a birth certificate. I didn’t have one. I was born in a log cabin, with no doctor, and no one to help my mother with the birth. BUT my Dad had a notarized paper made out. The census bureau had a record of my birth date. The public school where I started first grade and graduated from high school had my records. So I passed that part. I then had to prove I had never traveled outside the USA. Then had to fill in every address I had ever had and could not leave ANY blanks. I had to go through a similar thing when I worked for an insurance agency and I had access to the names and addresses of people who owned millions in jewelry and only two of us girls could do those policies. NOW FOR OBAMA.

He had his 15 minutes of fame of being the first black to run for president. He was a novelty and came out of nowhere. No one even knew him. He was treated with kid gloves for fear the ACLU or the like would raise a stink if you said a word, they would say you hated blacks. This time lets concentrate on he is half white and go for that half. Forget that his birth certificate could very well be a phony. But his life is a total mystery. He grew up in Indonesia. He was a citizen of that country. He was abandoned by his Mother to be raised in Hawaii by his Grandparents. He had no money. He traveled to Pakistan. American citizens were not allowed to go there. SO, if he was an American citizen how could he travel there? He must be forced to show what passport he used. It had to be an Indonesian passport. What name was he using, was it Barack Obama or Barry?

How did he pay for his college education. Did he get student loans?  Did he pay them back? When did he become an American Citizen after being an Indonesian citizen? Why are all his college records sealed? What is there to be ashamed of  or what is he hiding? Its something way way bigger and darker than poor grades. George W. Bush was crucified for missing a few National Guard meetings and drinking a few beers. Obama just has totally covered his past. Read the Public Liberty Alert of Aug 9, 2012. A so called classmate speaks out. But to summarize it, it is scary. Obama says he graduated from Columbia University, Class of 83. Obama says he was Pre-Law and Political Science major. This classmate never saw Obama or Barry Soetoro (the other name he used). They have interviewed 400 so called classmates and not one ever remembered seeing Obama. Did he even go to school there, if not where was he during those years? If his grades were poor how did he get into Harvard? Why has he spent millions to keep his school records sealed.

Who paid for his education? If he had student loans he had to keep up his good grades. Did he pay his student loans back? OR did Obama a/k/a Barry Soetoro get into Occidental and Columbia as a foreign exchange student? Foreign students get admitted to American Universities way easier and they get all sorts of aide and scholarships for free. Did Obama use his Indonesia Passport and citizenship to go to college here? He could not be an American Citizen and be a foreign exchange student at the same time. Mitt Romney’s income tax forms are nothing compared to what Obama should be forced to disclose. To be president of the United States you can’t have a past like this completely sealed up. He has to talk without a teleprompter. He actually should be forced to step down as president now. Keep reminding him he has used up his black half and now we start on the white half and we all know whites don’t get treated with kid gloves. This is beyond scary? Its time for Romney to make a deal to lay records on the table, but even if Obama quits trying to bring up Romney’s tax returns should not be enough to keep his past school and travels sealed. Is he even a citizen? How come he has not a single classmate or professor that remembers him? We have to tell more about ourselves to get a job at Burger King than he had to to  become President because he hid behind being a picked on black. Lets pick on the white now. Hope you think about this and help get answers.

Will Obamacare Replace Dr. Kevorkian?

Dr. Kevorkian a/k/a Dr Death died in a hospital recently. There is no doubt about it what he did was very controversial. From the things I have read he had a lot of very grateful patients. When our end time comes we each will look at it differently. My opinion of him was very high. It took a lot of courage to study a patient, listen to them and when they decided they could not stand the pain and suffering any longer, and there was absolutely no hope of getting better he provided them with a way to end it. It was still their decision to take whatever it was he gave them but he did not put a needle in their vein like they do when someone is put to death on death row. He did not smother them or do anything to them, just gave them a way to end it. I think that took a lot of compassion. They are saying now that he helped some end it all that were healthy. I doubt that but of course government and laws were on his case all the time. But now that he is gone Obamacare will just cut off our treatment payments and that will end our lives but we will die a drawn out painful death. That is even worse.

You hear the rumors about “killing Grandma” by limiting or suggesting how much treatment an old person should get. I think it should be completely between the patient and their doctor and their family, not the government run health insurance that we could be forced to join. People who cannot afford to sign up for the required health insurance will be fined. If you can be fined you probably could be put in jail. All the time an honest hard working person is struggling it will not affect the welfare class at all. The illegal immigrants, the lifelong welfare cheats, the alcoholic’s and druggies get everything free now and will then too.

I wish there were less government interference and more Dr. Kevorkian’s. I am an elderly person and if/when I cannot go to the bathroom, swallow food, am in constant pain it would be comforting to know I could have a pill to take when I felt I could no longer stand it. I already have signed papers that I do not want to be resuscitated. I have a notice in my windows, front and back for Medics. My children know this. If I should come to and live longer fine but I do not want to be hauled off to ICU and have a breathing tube down my throat, food thru a tube in my side and a catheter to help with my most personal problems. I think it’s just as controversial to hook a person up to all sorts of machines and prolong death AND CHARGE US for it as was for Dr. Kevorkian to make our own decision to end our suffering.

I am only talking physical suffering, not mental. We all have times where we lose a job, a sweetheart, our house burns down, or the dog runs away that if we could ask Dr Kevorkian for a pill that would be a big mistake. Usually everything looks brighter tomorrow. This brings to mind an article I read about a young athlete who got hurt in a game and was paralyzed from his neck down. No one wanted to even go see him, they felt so bad and had no idea what to say. Finally his little sister went to give him a kiss and when she came out of his room she was so happy. She told him she was sorry he got hurt so bad but he told her that it could be a lot worse. He said he was so thankful that he can see rainbows, and still hear the beautiful music and talk and eat. He said not to feel sad because he is fine. Most of us would not have that attitude. But what the Obamacare if talking about is how much to spend on the elderly. I can see the point in a way. If a guy is darn near 100 I think its really stupid to be doing hip transplants and things like that. We need more Dr Kevorkian’s and less Obama’s that’s for sure

Obama blames politics for the delay on immigration – Yahoo! News (Political Discussion)

Obama

Is there anything that this man will NOT blame something on someone else rather than his own ineptness? Congress is partisan because, honestly, the democrats made it that way. They put their feet down in the ’80s with Reagan and then broke their promises as politicians are wont to do. Again in the ’90s. When the republicans, first time with Clinton in ’94 were together, there was a groundswell due to previous policies, and things got done. Even Clinton recognized that things needed to be signed and he did.

Now, with 8 years of absolute vitriol hatred against George Bush and thus everything conservative (rightly so in some areas, but mostly no), these petty children of the left are trying to blame everything on the right because no one on the right agrees with them. If the ideas were so great, then all the members, sans a few, would support it. But it is NOT good. So what does the POS POTUS do? Bitch and moan that partisanship is the problem and since he is a lefty, it is clearly the right’s fault. Sheesh!

Why not stop all the legislating and go on a permanent holiday (the whole 530 members of Congress and the president)! Nothing will get passed, and I guarantee you the stock market will be above 14K. Either that, or we will have a civil war again.

good luck and good night!

Comments:

Debateguy: Maybe I should rename the trend “Blame Game Trends”. This article sums up what I believe to be the overall impression of our POTUS. Blame everyone else. Point fingers at everyone else.

Well, Mr. President. Did your mother (or grandmother as your mom wasn’t around much) not tell you that when you point your finger at someone else 3 more are pointing at you – from your OWN hand?

I cannot wait for this man to go the way of Jimmy Carter.

Jimmy: Obama and his friends love illegal immigration for a simple reason.  Eventually, somehow, someway, millions of the illegals in this country will get citizenship.  And they will get benefits (many are getting them now).  And most important of all, they will vote, and they will vote Democrat.

Obama ain’t stupid.  He knows this as well as anyone.

Obama says being American is ‘not a matter of blood or birth’ – NYPOST.com (Political Discussion)

Barack Obama and Michelle

This is rich. This is from the man that was born in Kenya (per Micelle Obama) and is now our President allegedly.

This is nuts and going against all our laws as well as every country in the world’s laws on immigration. What is his problem? What doesn’t he understand? I thought he was the “all knowing” that will tell us what we had for breakfast today, tomorrow, and next month.

Excuse me? Being AMERICAN is MOST CERTAINLY a matter of blood, birth and YO, Culture! I guess he can make this statement because since we are getting so divided and segregated by the left and each other, we as a culture have forgotten what it MEANS to be American! Someone leaves their country, for whatever reason, to come here, to OUR country; the USA, then they need to learn to be Americans. I don’t need to learn to be Chinese, French, German, Mexican, Spanish, Brazilian, Portuguese, Fijian, Philipino, Indian, Morrocan, etc. You come here, learn English (first thing – or better yet learn it before you come here), learn our culture/history (if they even teach that in school), and how OUR government works.

Don’t come here to use OUR laws against us so that you can have it the way it was where you are from, that you are/were currently running away from. You break the law, you go to jail, or go home. Just STOP IT!

ObamaFan: His solution is to give the illegals  “a pathway to legal status”.  Sooooo, it’s not illegal if we change our minds and make it legal.

I trust there are many who see through this double-speaking mindless and clueless POS/Monkey POTUS

Gene: Turn that teleprompter back on.

AgainstTrump: For once Obama get’s it right. Being an America has always been about choice. We are a nation of immigrants after all. Those who are born here also have the choice — to leave, and by far, to many of them that should, don’t. We need to get back to that view of what it means to be an American, one of choice, versus one of entitlement by birth (the equivalent of the aristocracy). Those who don’t believe in the values of the Founders shouldn’t be granted citizenship, and those who don’t uphold them should be encouraged to leave.

James: If we are not Americans by birth, culture, blood, etc., what DOES make us Americans?  Our tv viewing habits?  Sports preferences?  Menu choices? Well, what?

Slowmoguy: Once again President Obama has planted his fat ass on the fence. Talk about hot air and no direction!!

“And no matter how decent they are, no matter their reasons, the 11 million who broke these laws should be held accountable.”

Yeah right, but what are you actually doing about it Mr. President?

“I’m ready to move forward. The majority of Democrats are ready to move forward, and I believe the majority of Americans are ready to move forward…”

That so? Ready to move forward and do WHAT, ace?

“But the fact is, without bipartisan support, as we had just a few years ago, we cannot solve this problem. Reform that brings accountability to our immigration system cannot pass without Republican votes.”

Which translates as POTUS saying,”Hey, Lord knows I tried folks but…really…it’s all the Republicans fault…My ass is just all tied up.”

I swear this guy’s got enough hot air to reflate The Zeppelin ten times over and then some !!… Unbelievable!!

Unfortunately, this discussion is really old and we’ve closed it.

Top 3 Philanthropists in America: Warren Buffett, Alice Walton, and Melinda Gates

Top Philanthropists Warren Buffett, Alice Walton, Melinda Gates

Philanthropic initiatives focus on promoting the welfare of others, usually through the donation of money to charitable causes. In America, numerous groups focus on improving the quality of life for those who are less fortunate. However, when it comes to philanthropy, three names are heard more often than others – Warren Buffett, Alice Walton, and Melinda Gates. These individuals have taken advantage of their success by reinvesting their wealth into the communities that surround them, bettering the lives of countless families.

Warren Buffett

Referred to as the “Oracle of Omaha,” Warren Buffett is an investor, business magnate, and world-renowned philanthropist who has served as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway since 1970. Forbes reports that, at one point, Warren was the world’s richest man. Still, he never let this title define him. He has done as much as possible to give his money to those who can best utilize it to help the society around us. Also holding the fitting title of the world’s most successful investor, he decided to take the money he earned and reinvest in what matters most – the various philanthropic needs of the U.S.

In 2006, Warren committed to gradually giving away 99% of his Berkshire Hathaway stock to philanthropic foundations. He stands firm in this commitment and has already donated approximately half of his wealth. In 2009, he partnered with Bill and Melinda Gates, becoming co-founder of the Giving Pledge. This pledge was created to inspire rich Americans to pledge at least 50% of their wealth to charity. Two years later, he was listed in Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. In 2010, he was named one of the most influential global thinkers. The following year, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama.

Warren Buffett has demonstrated many times that he values his philanthropic work over his net worth. He continues to actively support his family’s individual foundations, including Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, Sherwood Foundation, Howard G. Buffett Foundation, and NoVo Foundation. Yet, he has also made it clear that he won’t be leaving his children a lot of money. He has seen how wealth can impact a family and believes it is more important that he share with his children and grandchildren his desire to help others than to give them a large inheritance. Warren also participates in auctions where the winning bidder receives a luncheon with him, and the proceeds are used to fund different philanthropic foundations. [Wikipedia]

Alice Walton

Heiress to the Walmart fortune and second richest woman in the world, Alice Walton, has dedicated her life to philanthropic works. She believes in bettering the world by increasing access to arts, supporting education, and enhancing economic opportunities. Much of her work so far has been dedicated to the arts, but her goals for the future continue to expand her efforts into other important areas. Much of her philanthropic work focuses on her local community of Bentonville, Arkansas.

Alice founded the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in 2011, a 120-acre park with galleries, classrooms, a gathering hall, a library featuring over 50,000 art reference volumes, and a five-mile walking trail of sculptures. This Museum’s permanent collection contains five centuries of American art, including works created by Indigenous people and other artists who traditionally have been underrepresented in most museums. She is also a member of the Walton Family Foundation and the founder of the Alice L. Walton foundation.

In 2017, Alice founded Art Bridges, a nonprofit foundation that partners with a wide variety of institutes to provide greater access to American art. This foundation supports several projects geared towards creating deeper engagement within communities. Recently, she led the formation of the Whole Health Institute and is deeply involved in the development of the Whole Health School of Medicine and Health Services, both based in Bentonville. The goal is to create an arena where health and well-being are both affordable and accessible.

Alice Walton is passionate about outreach in her community and beyond. She became the first chairperson of the Northwest Arkansas Council, which played a major role in improving the transportation infrastructure of the area. She also established Camp War Eagle, a summer camp available to children of all different socio-economic backgrounds. She has received The Archives of American Art Medal from the Smithsonian Institute and the John Cotton Dana Medal for Visionary Leadership in Museums from the American Alliance of Museums. In 2018, she was inducted into the International Women’s Forum Hall of Fame. [Wikipedia]

Alice Walton Steps Down as Chairperson: Expanding Horizons

Alice Walton has long been known for her philanthropic work and her love of the arts. Much of her work focuses on her hometown of Bentonville. Her desire has been to create a place rich in art and other forms of social connection. She is most well-known for helping make Bentonville, Arkansas an art destination. This museum offers both in-person and virtual art events in the hopes of reaching a larger community and bringing people together.

She is known for her vast collection of art, and her commitment to making the art world more accessible for those less fortunate. Alice Walton recently announced that she would be stepping down as the board chairperson for the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Stepping Down

Walton has led the board of the Crystal Bridges Museum since opening its doors in 2011. This nonprofit museum was a major component of economic and artistic growth in Northwest Arkansas. This museum has been a cultivation of her passion for the arts, and her desire to make art accessible. She will continue to stay involved, transitioning to the function of a board member of Crystal Bridge, which she first created as a non-profit in 2005. A close family member Olivia Walton, is taking the role of leading the board as chairperson.

Alice Walton couldn’t be happier to have a family member take her place. In a news release, she had nothing but praise for Olivia Walton, extolling her lifelong passion for the arts and acknowledging what an excellent museum board leader she will be now into the next decade. While Alice Walton will continue to be a part of the museum, she also wanted to free more of her time to focus on additional artistic and philanthropic work.

Expanding Her Focus

Alice Walton continues to dedicate her life to philanthropic work. Her step down as chairperson is largely due to her desire to work on other projects. Along with her passion for art, she also has a passion for health and well-being. She is deeply engaged in the Whole Health Institute, as well as the Whole Health School of Medicine and Health Sciences, that she founded recently. The goal of these new projects is to create an arena where health and well-being are both accessible and affordable. She also helped to establish Camp War Eagle, which is a summer camp for all socio-economic backgrounds. Alice Walton had often expressed her desire to branch from the art world to continue helping those in need in other areas. This move highlights her desire to continue her philanthropic work outside of the art world. She is excited to see how new, fresh leadership will continue to inspire and shape the projects of the Crystal Bridges Museum.

Jenny Durkan’s $5.9 Billion Dollar Budget Proposal in Seattle

Jenny Durkan

The City of Seattle looks forward with Mayor Jenny Durkan’s announcement of her 2019 and 2020 budget proposal. Being Durkan’s first budget proposal, she excitedly began with, “Good afternoon. It is an honor to be with you today as I present my first budget as mayor of Seattle. I know the Mayor is usually at City Hall to deliver her budget speech. And yes: After 100 years, that’s what I said, ‘Her budget speech.’”

This monumental moment for Durkan was followed by the city’s plans and budget for the coming years.

A proposed allotment of money has been set aside for the employment of 40 new police officers, 120 firefighters, and 24 new call center employees for Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle City Light, according to CrossCut.com. The city’s transportation services will be greatly benefited from Durkan’s proposed budget. $2.5 million is granted toward Sound Transit with the planning of a new light rail station. King County Metro will be asked to add more bus services around Seattle as well. Additionally, new bus and bike lanes will be added in the city under the new budget.

Durkan is working for taxpayers to vote “yes” on the school levy this November in attempts to fund preschool, K-12, and community college schools in Seattle. An allotment of $2.6 billion is going toward Seattle utilities — this includes garbage, recycling, clean water, and power.

Durkan’s most prevalent headlining budget is her proposal for managing homelessness in the city. A proposed budget of $89.5 million was made toward the funding of programs, resources, and departments aiding the homelessness epidemic. In the first half of her inaugural year as mayor, Durkan’s efforts resulted in two times the re-homing of homeless individuals than the year prior. More than 500 beds were added to Seattle homeless shelters during her first year. The mayor’s budget proposal took what was once temporary spending money toward homelessness and made it permanent. Durkan’s Biennial Budget Proposal has laid out the city’s plan to implement 2,300 more emergency shelter beds, 70% of these beds being 24/7 enhanced shelter beds. Continued investment into the Seattle Rental Housing Assistant Pilot program and Seattle’s Tiny Home Village are to happen thanks to Durkan. The homelessness crisis has resulted in abundant amounts of trash and garbage in the city, especially in encampment areas. Durkan’s budget supports 4 cleanup programs to help resolve this issue. The Homelessness and Housing Investments budget sheet states, “including…removing trash from unmanaged encampments, cleaning trash in the public right-of-way, providing litter bags to unmanaged encampments and collecting syringes from public places and disposal boxes throughout Seattle.” Since the beginning of these programs a count of 111,000 syringe needles have been picked up.

Mayor Jenny Durkan’s leading-edge budget proposal leads the way to a productive and innovative upcoming few years for the City of Seattle.

Who is Jenny Durkan?

Jenny Durkan served as the Mayor of Seattle, having been elected in November 2017 and officially taking office on November 28, 2017. She is a member of the Democratic Party and was the first openly lesbian person to be elected mayor of the city.

Before becoming mayor, Durkan had a substantial career in law and public service. She served as the United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington, a position she was appointed to by President Barack Obama. In this role, she worked on issues related to police reform, civil rights, and drug enforcement, among others.

As mayor, Durkan faced numerous challenges, such as managing the city’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating civil unrest and protests related to racial justice and police violence, and addressing the rising cost of living and homelessness in Seattle. Her tenure as mayor was marked by various policy initiatives and controversies, especially in relation to policing and housing.

Jenny Durkan announced in 2020 that she would not seek re-election and concluded her term at the end of 2021.

Washington State Says No! To Cryptocurrency

Cryptocurrency Washington State

July 23rd 2017, in the name of “protecting consumers”, Washington State became one of the largest states to put a stop to the digital currency marketplace aka Cryptocurrency. The bill (SB 5031) establishing the regulations, was passed by the state legislature in April 2017.

Most of you probably don’t know this issue (don’t own Cryptocurrency) and that is why we’re bringing this to the people’s attention. That state has placed such high regulations on them that many of the exchanges that are used to buy Cryptocurrency won’t be participating in Washington State. If you try to sign-up, you’ll be denied service for this reason. The state punished these exchanges with so many rules they simply can’t participate and that means you won’t be able to either. These include making them agree to third-party security audits of their systems, and post surety bonds of between $10,000 and $550,000, which work as security deposits in the event customers deserve compensation from an exchange.

The reality this is just a measure to keep digital currency away from the easily traceable payment options (ie credit cards, cash in checking accounts). The state wants to make sure they are keeping tabs of all your money and if that means kicking in the teeth and bullying any new or innovated ideas – they will do just that to get their way.

After the bill passed, the exchanges started to leave Washington State and they told their customers they will need to kick sand and take their business elsewhere. These include: Bitfinex, Bitstamp, Kraken, and Poloniex.

On Reddit, people have accused the state of having a “cryptohating legislature” and being “a very sorry state for any forward-thinking, technology enthusiast individual to reside in.”.

Sponsors of this bill included Senator Jan Angel (R) and Senator Mark Mullet (D). Recently, Senator Jan Angel sponsored Angel bill raising awareness of heating-oil tank insurance. I didn’t read to much into it as the surface of it seems like a waste of time and energy. In short, it’s an “awareness” bill… that raises awareness of an insurance program for residential heating-oil tanks. According to them, “The bill helps make residential homebuyers aware of the Washington Pollution Liability Insurance Agency’s Residential Heating Oil Insurance Program, which provides insurance coverage at no cost to owners of active heating-oil tanks. The program provides up to $60,000 of insurance coverage for cleaning up contamination caused by a leak from a heating oil tank.” They lost me when they said it was an “awareness” bill to raise awareness about an issue. Are we really creating “awareness” laws now to let residents just know about information? How about we stick to just making real laws that are enforceable instead of wasting money on marketing campaigns disguised as laws which this appears to be. This combined with the cryptocurrentcy ban and you’re about two strikes out sitting at home.

As for Senator Mark Mullet, he sponsored and passed legislation for increasing health care cost transparency. He must of failed with that goal because Washington State is living on the cash hog when it comes to pharmacy drugs, hospitals, fees, and the tax revenue they get from those items. They are not going to change a thing and still think obamacare is “affordable”. Heath care cost and transparency is one if not the biggest scams in the state. Hospitals are ripping people off so transparency obviously isn’t in place either.

There wasn’t much news about slapping down Cryptocurrency. I first investigated this due to Microsoft partnering with the Ripple Cryptocurrency. Ripple unlike Bitcoin offers faster processing and has a business model behind it. They leverage customer information to make a profit. I wanted to invest as well and downloaded one of the exchanges only to be denied when I entered my Washington State address. Ripple was priced at .29 at that time and now it’s over a dollar.

Thanks for keeping the people down Washington State.

SpaceX Plans to Send Two People on a trip around the Moon

SpaceX Going To The Moon

SpaceX has plans to send two private citizens around the Moon. The pair approached Elon Musk and SpaceX to prepare for this trailblazing adventure. This mission presents an opportunity for humans to return to deep space for the first time in 45 years. They will travel faster and further into the Solar System than any before them.

The trip around the Moon would take roughly one week. The mission would skim the surface of the Moon, go further out into deep space, and loop back to Earth, reaching approximately 300,000 to 400,000 miles. The launch is set tentatively in 2018 with the SpaceX yet untested Falcon Heavy rocket. It will be a private mission with two paying customers. The passengers are “very serious” about the trip and have already paid a “significant deposit,” according to Musk.

The two individuals going on the trip, who weren’t named, already know each other. They will begin initial training for the trip later this year. They wanted their identities to remain private for the time being. It was also stated that neither of these space explorers are from the Hollywood realm. Musk declined to comment on the exact cost of the trip, but said it was “comparable” or a little more than the cost of a crewed mission to the International Space Station- let’s just say it’s no small price tag for a trip around the moon. These trips are costly to the individual traveling to space, but could greatly benefit SpaceX. Musk commented that regular private trips like this could significantly impact SpaceX revenue for future explorations and innovation. “There’s a market for at least one or two of these per year,” Musk said, adding that lunar flyby missions might eventually constitute 10% to 20% of SpaceX’s revenue each year.

The passengers going on this expedition know that the risks are high. Musk said the flight would be on a self-directed spacecraft that needs no astronauts on board. It would be necessary for the two paying travelers to undergo “extensive training before going on the mission.” Musk commented that Dragon is designed to be an autonomous vehicle. The space explorers would be launched from the historic Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center late next year on SpaceX’s Dragon 2 vehicle on a Falcon Heavy rocket. That’s the same launch pad used by NASA for Apollo missions to the moon, as well as many space shuttle missions, including the last one. SpaceX flew its Falcon 9 from the KSC pad for the first time earlier in February.

NASA and SpaceX have a good working relationship. In a statement, NASA said it commends its industry partners for reaching higher. “We will work closely with SpaceX to ensure it safely meets the contractual obligations to return the launch of astronauts to US soil and continue to successfully deliver supplies to the International Space Station,” the agency said. SpaceX said that Nasa has encouraged privately crewed missions, saying that through them “long-term costs to the government decline and more flight reliability history is gained, benefiting both government and private missions.” NASA has financed much of SpaceX’s spacecraft development, and Musk said the agency has priority. If NASA wants to put its astronauts on the Falcon Heavy’s first moon flight, he said, SpaceX will comply. But the Falcon Heavy has not been through NASA’s rigorous reviews to be judged safe for astronauts.

SpaceX is not the only company trying to race to space. Rival spaceflight company Blue Origins, headed by Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, has also announced plans to eventually take people and cargo to low Earth orbit with its own reusable rockets. In 2001, billionaire Dennis Tito became the world’s first space tourist for an estimated $20 million, booking a trip on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft to the International Space Station, and about half a dozen others followed him into orbit. Space explorations seems to be heating back up after decades of little to no new exploration.

Many details about the Moon mission have yet to be made public. Mainly the names of the passengers, the reason they are so interested in going, what spacesuits and equipment will be necessary, whether the Federal Aviation Administration will give SpaceX the go-ahead, how the passengers will prepare, what emergency support and plans are in place, etc. The lack of information from this announcement has made some experts uneasy.

Chris Newman, an expert on space policy and law at the University of Sunderland in the UK, said that the aggressive timeline and budget are “extremely ambitious, and it remains to be seen if the practical difficulties associated with human spaceflight can match this ambition.” Some have expressed doubt about Musk’s aggressive timelines often falling short.

On the other hand, some experts have reacted more optimistically. Phil Larson, a former Obama administration space policy adviser and former SpaceX employee, said, “It will act as a stepping stone for the eventual human exploration of Mars, which is everyone’s ultimate goal.” Larson recognizes Musk’s timing is opportune “as a new administration grapples with their plans for NASA.” It seems that many of Musk’s goals are dependent on the upcoming decisions and favor of the new administration. “This goes to show that America’s commercial space industry is ready to go beyond Low Earth Orbit not in 10 years, but now,” he said. Dale Ketcham, chief of strategic alliances for Space Florida, said Musk’s announcement was somewhat of a surprise in the space community. “I do think most of us didn’t see it coming, but maybe we should have,” Ketcham said, referring to Musk’s reputation for innovation and challenging the status quo. Ketcham called Musk’s announcement “very exciting,” and said it will help drive competition among NASA and commercial space companies that could lead to an accelerated timeline for space exploration.

Whether you think it is a good or bad idea to send two people on a trip around the moon, it is hard to deny that the prospect is quite exciting.
